TrustChain

A portable blockchain reputation system, 2nd place at Akwaaba Dapps

trustchainproject brief

Web3 / Hackathon

Apr 2025

Project overview

TrustChain explores a problem in decentralized applications: a user's reputation can become tied to the application where it was earned. The project proposes portable, verifiable trust so that reputation can carry meaning beyond a single app. It was built on the Internet Computer Protocol, with TypeScript in the project stack.

Developed for the Akwaaba Dapps Hackathon, TrustChain placed second and was selected for Demo Day at ICP Hub Ghana in April 2025. The project is presented as a hackathon implementation of the reputation concept. Its focus is the relationship between identity, verifiable reputation, and reuse across applications, rather than a claim of broad production adoption.
